for a wedding ceremony is played on an organ. Sometimes a choir also sings.

songs that are played at weddings as the bride walks down the aisle are:
• Mendelssohn’s “A Midsummer Nights Dream” (Played
for Queen Victoria’s wedding) • Handle’s
“Processional” in g major
• “Here Comes the
Bride” (bridal chorus) The music for the ceremony usually is played in
this order:
• Prelude Guests start arriving and are seated until
the mother of the bride is seated. The prelude entertains guests while they
wait for the ceremony to start.
• Processional Starts to play when
the mother of the bride is seated • Ceremony music
• Small
piece during the lighting of the unity candle (if appropriate) • Communion
Music (if appropriate)
• Recessional
